In Deuteronomy 6, we understand that as parents, we are called to talk about God’s love and His commandments all the time – in our homes, when we are lying down, when we get up, and when we are on the road.

Sep. 6th - JESUS RAISED LAZARUS JOHN 11–12
When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He showed that He has power over death. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life.” Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead. He gives eternal life to those who trust in Him.

Sep. 13th - THE WORLD IS AGAINST GOD - EPHESIANS 6
Paul told believers to be ready to fight a spiritual battle every day. People and powers who are against God will be against us too. But Jesus died and rose from the dead. He had victory over evil. We can fight the battle against evil, knowing Jesus already won the war.

Sep. 20th - Jesus Taught about Prayer - Luke 11:1–13
Jesus models a communal prayer that highlights God's power, provision, forgiveness, mercy, and protection.

Sep. 27th - Jesus Taught About Possessions - Luke 12:13–34
Parable of the Rich Fool to warn against greed. He teaches that life is not defined by an abundance of physical things.

We are putting an effort to make sure that children at this age start to feel like church is a place that belongs to them. We frame our Sundays with their needs and wants in mind. We want them to leave knowing that there is a place where they will always be welcome.
