David Hurtado
Lead Pastor
David Hurtado comes to us from the San Francisco Bay area. While his main passion is for the church and theology, he finds great solace in following his favorite sports teams. David has been married for almost two decades and has four children, two of which were adopted out of the foster care system.
David met his wife, Meredith, in the neighboring San Fernando Valley at the Church of Rocky Peak. While being opposites in almost everything in life, they have proven to complement each other well. Life with their two teenagers, Audrey and Donovan, and their grade-school aged, Sebastian and Nevaeh, makes for a lively and adventurous household.
David has been involved in full-time ministry for just under 20 years in mid-sized to large churches, and has been using that experience as he leads CamCC. David has received a Bachelor of Arts in Bible Exposition from The Masters College; a Master of Divinity from Talbot Theological Seminary; and a Doctorate from Dallas Theological Seminary.
