They are all here to serve. If you need anything, please feel free to reach out to them. You can find their contact information next to their names below, or you can call the church office at 805.482.2657.
David Hurtado comes to us from the San Francisco Bay area. While his main passion is for the church and theology, he finds great solace in following his favorite sports teams. David has been married for almost two decades and has four children, two of which were adopted out of the foster care system.
David met his wife, Meredith, in the neighboring San Fernando Valley at the Church of Rocky Peak. While being opposites in almost everything in life, they have proven to complement each other well. Life with their two teenagers, Audrey and Donovan, and their grade-school aged, Sebastian and Nevaeh, makes for a lively and adventurous household.
David has been involved in full-time ministry for just under 20 years in mid-sized to large churches, and has been using that experience as he leads CamCC. David has received a Bachelor of Arts in Bible Exposition from The Masters College; a Master of Divinity from Talbot Theological Seminary; and a Doctorate from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Raised in Oxnard, Jacob is no stranger to the Ventura County area. Jacob first came to know Christ at the age of 13 when attended a Christian Hip-Hop concert in south Oxnard and has been following after Christ ever since. When he’s not at church, Jacob enjoys watching football, trying new food places and engaging in all things nerdy. Jacob brings over 5 years of youth ministry experience with him and is excited to see all that the Lord has planned for the middle school students of Camarillo and beyond.

He’s currently in college studying to go to medical school. In his free time, he enjoys longboarding and finding new music to listen to. He values the importance of sharing the hope and truth of Christ with our young kids and is so stoked to serve the families of CamCC as our 4th-5th grade director.
