Community Impact Initiatives

We have a duty to serve our community and there are several ways you can get involved with Community Outreach. Multiple times a year, we do Community Impact Initiatives and serve our local community. See below to see the different ways we've impacted our community.

  • Foster Hope

    Currently Ongoing!
    For the month of July, CamCC collected supplies and volunteers for James Storehouse and their Back to School Bash event. Money is also being collected to purchase used cars for youth aging out of the foster care system.

  • Kindness Kits

    Fall 2023
    Our CamCC family collected items to assemble 200+ "Kindness Kits" that contained useful items. These bags were distributed to those in need around Ventura County.

  • Walk for Water

    Spring 2023
    CamCC partnered with World Vision to provide clean water to people in need around the world by raising funds through a 6k walk.

  • Cater-a-Cop

    Spring 2023
    For the month of March, CamCC appreciated our local Camarillo police station by catering meals for their morning and evening briefings.

  • ZOE Initiative

    Spring 2022
    CamCC partnered with ZOE International, a non-profit organization that is active in the fight against human trafficking both nationally and internationally. During this month, we raised funds to buy a van for ZOE, facilitated daily/monthly/24 hour prayer, and collected gift cards.

  • Give Love

    Winter 2022
    CamCC collected needed goods for Jehovah Jirah, our food pantry, which serves 150 families weekly.

  • Compassion for Colombia

    Fall 2021
    We partnered with Compassion International to plant a church in Colombia to bring the gospel of salvation to some of the world's poorest children. 

  • Water to the Rescue

    Summer 2021
    CamCC Partnered with the Ventura County Rescue Mission by collecting cases of water bottles for our most vulnerable members of our community.

  • LA Impact

    Spring 2021
    CamCC partnered with Christ Church LA, a church plant in our denomination, by donating gift cards, money, and volunteer service. 

  • The Hope Project

    Fall 2020
    CamCC partnered with the Ventura County Pregnancy Center, a local, non-profit Christian organization, by collecting onsies, pregnancy tests, Bibles, and new infant car seats.

  • CamCC Cares

    Summer 2020
    CamCC will be appreciated all of our local Pleasant Valley St John's hospital workers by providing a Chick-Fil-A boxed meal for every worker in the hospital as well as doing prayer walks throughout the day. 

  • Bless a Teacher

    Fall 2019
    CamCC put together gift bags that were given to local Camarillo teachers during the 1st week of school.

  • Operation Christmas Child

    Fall 2019
    CamCC collected items to assemble gift boxes for Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan's Purse, to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world.

  • Stock the Socks

    Spring 2019
    CamCC collected brand new packs of socks for Ventura County Rescue Mission and Lighthouse to help the homeless in Ventura County.

  • Food Pantry

    Winter 2018
    CamCC collected needed items for Jehovah Jirah, our food pantry, as well as collecting volunteers to serve.

  • A place Called Home

    Fall 2018
    CamCC partnered with the Ventura County City Center, a transitional home for local homeless families, by collecting needed baby items, hosting group dinners for families, held a fun BBQ for the families, holding a work day at the facility, and taking families shopping for school.

  • Fostering Hope

    Spring 2018
    CamCC partnered with Bethany Christian services to make an impact in the foster care community by building awareness, purchasing gift cards for foster families, and providing support for foster families.

  • Overflow

    Fall 2017
    CamCC collected donations that were given directly to a local church plant in our county. 

  • School Supply Drive

    Fall 2017
    CamCC collected several types of essential school supplies for children in the Pleasant Valley School District.

Serve the Church

Help serve on Sundays at CamCC. Serving opportunities include Worship and Tech Team, Greeter, Tech Team, Usher, PowerHouse Teacher (Children's Sunday School), Hospitality, Youth, and much more!
