Our Senior Pastor
Ralph Rittenhouse was born in Miami, Florida. His mother was a school
teacher and his father, a pastor. Ralph graduated from Florida State
University with a major in church music. He spent 14 years on staff with
Campus Crusade for Christ with five years in the High School Ministry
in Atlanta, Georgia, and six years at Arrowhead Springs in San Bernardino,
California. There he served on the National Leadership Team, heading up
the music and drama ministries. The last three years were spent on a special
assignment developing an evangelism/discipleship model for local churches.
During this time Ralph finished graduate work at Grace Graduate School
of Theology, where he received a Master's in Biblical Studies.
Ralph has
been the pastor of Camarillo Community Church in Camarillo, California
since 1983. When Ralph and his family arrived in Camarillo, there were
approximately 100 people meeting in a rented facility. Since then, the
church has completed its second building project, which is a 1,000 seat
auditorium. The church has also planted two daughter churches within the
last four years.
Jackie, Ralphs
wife, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Ralph and Jackie have
two children and six grandchildren.
